About the SoSP
My name is Matt Reicher.
I am a historian and content creator writing about St. Paul's history on this site. I grew up on the east side and have been interested in learning about its past for as long as I can remember.
If you enjoy my writing (and have maybe learned something new), please consider buying me a cup of coffee.
The Streets of St. Paul strives to preserve and share the city's rich cultural heritage and stories. Our research and storytelling aim to educate and inspire readers, fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of the people, places, and events that have shaped the unique identity of Minnesota's capital city.
This site does not host the articles. It connects readers things written on Newsbreak, Medium, and Vocal.Media.
While every article is primary and secondary source driven, the website is the sole copyright holder of everything written.
Newsbreak, Medium, and Vocal.Media offer comment sections. I appreciate everyone who takes the time to comment on something I've written (positive or negative), but don't always read the comments.
Content will be updated often. Links will be posted on the Streets of St. Paul website as soon as they are made publicly available on the host sites.
If you have a question or comment about the site or a particular article, please feel free to e-mail us at streetsofstpaul@protonmail.com.
